關於蔡瓊書

 

蔡瓊書,國立師範大學美術研究所碩士,曾任國中教師二十餘年,退休後專事創作,為畫家、陶藝家,並曾擔任中華民國跨世紀油畫研究會理事長。她的創作從寫實主義與象徵主義開始,近年來則朝抽象主義發展,尤其對人體的解構特別有興趣。在人體畫方面,她嘗試分解人體,然後以點線面的形式在畫布上重組,創造出一種具有律動性的獨特風格。蔡瓊書活躍於藝壇,曾榮獲香港「上‧文化周年繪畫大賽」銀獎、日本「國際公募藝術未來賞」、第五屆國際抽象網路展銅獎、台北市書畫美術工會文創精英獎等,並曾人選法國春季沙龍展、公教美展、彰化磺溪美展等重要展覽。此外,她曾舉辦十餘次個展,並於日本、韓國、法國、德國、美國等國參與聯展,熱衷於國際藝術交流。

 

蔡瓊書:我的創作喜歡混用東、西文化元素,並靈活運用多種媒材技法,呈現所思所見。我創作的風格類型,早期在寫實與抽象間轉換,最近幾年,我不再拘泥於風格類型,在抽象畫中,置入具象元素,或者以抽象的線條來描繪具象形體,這些風格類型的混合與轉換對我來說是很有意思的實驗。創作對我而言不應一成不變,而是應該不斷嘗試新的手法,創造新的意象。

About Tsai Chong-Su

Tsai Chong-Su holds a master's degree from the National Taiwan Normal University, Department of Fine Arts. She served as a junior high school teacher for more than 20 years. After retirement, she specialized in creation. She is a painter, ceramics artist, and once served as the chairman of the Cross-Century Oil Painting Research Association Taiwan. Her creations began with realism and symbolism, and in recent years have developed towards abstraction, with a particular interest in the deconstruction of the human body. Regarding human body painting, she aims to decompose the human body and then reorganize it on the canvas in the form of dots, lines, and planes, creating a unique rhythmic style. Tsai Chong-Su is active in the art world and has won many awards, such as the silver medal of Hong Kong's "Superior Culture Annual Painting Competition," Japan's "International Public Fund Art Future Award," the bronze medal of “the 5th International Abstract Online Exhibition,” the “Taipei Calligraphy and Painting Art Association Cultural and Creative Elite Award,” etc. She has been selected for important exhibitions such as Le Salon d'automne in france,  Art Exhibition by Civil Servant and Changhua Henxi Art Exhibition. Additionally, she has held more than ten solo exhibitions and participated in joint exhibitions in Japan, South Korea, France, Germany, the United States, and other countries, showing her enthusiasm for international art exchanges.

I like to mix Eastern and Western cultural elements in my creations and flexibly use a variety of media techniques to express my thoughts and observations. The style of my creations oscillated between realism and abstraction in the early days. In recent years, I no longer adhere strictly to a single style. I incorporate concrete elements into abstract paintings or use abstract lines to depict tangible figures. This mixing and transformation of styles are interesting experiments for me. For me, creation should not be static but should continually explore new techniques and generate new imagery.
